Marching Through the Midwest

Good Morning B’s & G’s,

It’s about that time again. Time to pack up a pillow, at least two changes of clothes, and all my music gear in the ol’ station wagon and hit the road for a few. This will be the first time since I moved down to Nashville that I’m heading back through my old stomping grounds to play some shows.

I’m going to call this little tour “Marching Through the Midwest!” Because it’s the month of March. Marching. And also because I’m going to be pitching my songs to marching band directors at high schools throughout the region.

That’s not true.

But on second thought, maybe it should be true!

Anyway, I’m really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces that I haven’t seen in a while, and hopefully turning some unfamiliar faces into familiar ones. My good friend Isaac is coming along to play the drums and to keep me from going insane from long periods of solitude. And we’re going to be picking up other musicians in several of the stops along the way, so a good time should be had by all.

Also, I will have the last few hand-made, hand-sewn copies of “The Streets Will Turn to Streams” along with me. These will be the first shows where they will be available, so they probably won’t last long. Or at least, I’m hoping they won’t last long.

Here is a quick run-down of where we’ll be and when. For all the details, click on the “shows” link at the top of the page.
